Take three measurements: the longest length, the widest width and the depth at the deepest point. Then work out each direction:

Liner length = pond length + (2 x maximum depth) + 0.6m
Liner width = pond width + (2 x maximum depth) + 0.6m

The 0.6m adds a 30cm overlap on each edge so the liner can be anchored. Round up to the next size, and remember sizes work either way round.
